1. Get your key

Open recipescraper.pro. Your access key is created automatically and shown on the page. Use the same page to top up credits for that key.

2. Make a request

Send your key in the X-API-Key header and the recipe link as url.

Celsius temperatures are converted to Fahrenheit, and gram amounts show the ounce equivalent alongside them.

Errors

Errors come back as {"error": {"code": "...", "message": "..."}}. You are only charged for a successful recipe.

Status	Code	Meaning
400	`missing_url`, `invalid_url`	No link, or not a public http(s) link.
401	`missing_api_key`, `invalid_api_key`	Key missing or not recognized.
402	`insufficient_credits`	Top up to keep going.
422	`no_recipe_found`	The page has no recipe on it (often a list or category page).
429	`rate_limited`	More than 30 requests in 60 seconds. Wait for the `Retry-After` seconds.
424	`source_blocked`, `source_unreachable`, `youtube_blocked`	The recipe site or YouTube refused or didn't answer. Try again later.
