Privacy policy

RecipeScraperPro is built to need as little information about you as possible. There are no accounts, and we never ask for your name or email address to use the tool.

What we store

• Your access key and credit balance. When you first visit, we create a random access key and store it with your credit balance in our database. The key isn't linked to your name or email.
• Cookies. We set a cookie that remembers your access key for 30 days, plus a session cookie that keeps the site working while you use it.
• Saved recipes. Recipes you save are kept in your own browser's local storage on that device. They aren't sent to us.

Recipe links you paste

When you submit a link, our server visits that page to pull out the recipe and sends the result back to you. We don't save the links you submit to our database. If an extraction fails, a technical error message may appear briefly in our server logs.

Payments

Credit purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe tells us when a payment is complete so we can add credit to your access key. Stripe's own privacy policy covers the information it collects.

Links to other sites

Some ingredients link to Amazon search results. As an Amazon Associate, RecipeScraperPro earns from qualifying purchases. If you click one of these links, Amazon may set its own cookies. We also link to the original recipe pages and to our shop, eBay store, Instagram and YouTube channel, which each have their own privacy practices.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Render, credits are stored with Supabase, and payments go through Stripe. These providers process data only as needed to run those services.

Your choices

You can clear your cookies and browser storage at any time to remove your key and saved recipes from your device. If you'd like your access key and balance deleted from our database, email us with the key.
